RIP Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson

To all of my Blackberry Guys:

Today, anyone who is 25 or older has a reason to mourn. One of the Sexiest women and one of America's original Angels has passed away.

America's biggest pop icon passed away today as well.

RIP Michael Jackson
August 29 1958-June 25, 2009 Age 50

RIP Farrah Fawcett
February 2, 1947-June 25, 2009 Age 62

If you are a guy age 25 or older, chances are one time in your life, you have grabbed your crotch, done a spin and said "OOOOWWW" and if you are a guy 25 or older, you have drooled over Farrah Fawcett at least once in your life. Today, the world has missed icons from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's.

We will miss Farrahs "girl next door" face and personality, and MJ's impression on society and how he changed the look of music and music videos forever. We will miss them both greatly!

  1. Wow,I can remember back in the day when MTV played nothing but MUSIC. Imagine that, Music Television actually playing music. He was the first African American to have videos played on MTV. Back then, it was mainly rock. No R&B, rap was a mere infant. Anyway, I was a mere 14 when "Off The Wall" hit the airwaves. Five multi-platinum hits and 20 million sold worldwide. As a teenager I'm thinking wow, how can he possibly top that?? Three years later and now a senior in high school, comes the album "Thriller". The songs and videos from those two albums will forever spark memories of my childhood that will burn in my mind forever. As an Army brat over in Germany and Italy, I can remember the Jackson 5 and the Beatles being played all the time. So, in retrospect Michael Jackson and his music has been a part of my life since the age of 5. He was a tremendous talent that transcended music of that era: Funk, disco, soul, soft rock, R&B and Pop. There will never be another one like him. Michael Joseph Jackson, R.I.P.
